A beautiful mermaid I came up with out of the spur of the moment.
This was drawn in 3 hours, and it was an...incredibly immersive project.
I had a lot of fun working with all the different textures and variations of in color that you see here. The entire picture was done in Photoshop CS6 [my personal favorite art program], and the picture really touches me in a way a drawing hasn't touched me in awhile.
It brings back memories of when I was little and very fascinated with mermaids and mythical sea life.
Hopefully you will enjoy viewing this picture as much as I did drawing it!
